Andy Chan started training BJJ under Thomas Fan since 2005, and he was awarded his Black Belt in 2019. He has competed successfully in both domestic & international competitions in Asia & is credited with Kylinbjj teams ongoing success in national & international BJJ/NoGi tournaments.​

 

Andy is also a Master in the art of Kalis Ilustrisimo, a weopan based system founded by Antonio “Tatang” Ilustrisimo. He initially became a student of Guro John Chow from Australia, and later, through his recommendation,  was introduced to the HQ of Kalis Ilustrisimo in Manila, Philippines. He then studied directly under the late Grandmaster Tony Diego, the head of the school. 

 

Andy Chan is the only Kalis Ilustrisimo instructor from Hong Kong directly certified by Grandmaster Tony Diego. 

 

Andy’s martial arts journey spans over 20+ years including traditional martial arts &  combat sports. He is particularly efficient & successful in BJJ fundamental training for Adults & Children.
